In a land far far away (that doesn't exist), The Funky Orchard is inhabited by elves, fairies, nymphs, goblins, and the like. On an island, in a lake, in the middle of a vast peice of land owned by a gentle nobleman, is .. The Funky Orchard. Once upon a time the island was inhabited by peaceful monks, who kept beautiful gardens and pristine orchards of cherries, apples and the like. But the monks discovered capitalism and scampered away as fast as their Mercedes could take them, leaving the island, and the orchard, in the hands of the fairy-like creatures. The orchard has become overgrown. The monastry and other buildings have tumbled down. But the orchard is as fun and full of mischief, as an island could be.
And so, this blog will explore the adventures of the various island characters (who will be added to the outline below, as they are introduced). Occasionally we see the gentle nobleman visit the island, and at times we see people attempting to camp there .. naive, unwitting souls that they must be.
